Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) National Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant (NMEC)

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) with financing from the World Bank/ International Development Association (IDA) is implementing the Roads Connectivity Improvement Project (RCIP). The RCIP will be implemented by two Implementing Agencies which component 1 is implemented by Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) to improve the selected sections of national and provincial roads, and Component 2 is implemented by Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) for rural roads improvement in the targeted provinces including Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum and Kratie.

Improvement of 25.67 km of roads in Preah Vihear Province

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has received Grant from the World Bank toward the cost of Cambodia Agricultural Sector Diversification Project (CASDP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the Contract for Improvement of 25.67 km of Roads in Preah Vihear Province. National Restoration of Rural Productive Capacity Project (NRRPCP) Wish to Purchase Supply and Delivery of Road Quality Control and Survey Equipment

The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) toward the cost of the National Restoration of Rural Productive Capacity Project (NRRPCP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery of Road Quality Control and Survey Equipments with Contract No. NRRPCP/23/NS/G-5.

Consulting Services for Strengthening Emergency Preparedness and Response

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) and the International Development Association (IDA) are in the process of finalizing the financial assistance from IDA towards the cost of the South East Asia Disaster Risk Management Project (“Resilience of Rural Infrastructure Project”) for rehabilitation and upgrade of Rural Roads. RGC intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for: Consulting Services by qualified consultation firms to provide services in supporting the Project’s Implementation on Strengthening Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R), assess and strengthen MRD’s EP&R capabilities, systems, protocols, resources as well as strengthen institutional and technical capacities for disaster risk management (DRM) in line with government priorities, develop post-disaster response and recovery guidelines, develop climate change and DRM strategic action plans for MRD’s technical working groups, and conduct regular capacity-building activities to enhance the knowledge and skills of MRD staff members on post-disaster damage and needs assessment.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL COMMITMENT PLAN

The Kingdom of Cambodia (the “Recipient”), through the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) and the Ministry of Rural Development (MRD), are implementing the Cambodia Road Connectivity Improvement Project (the “Project”), with the involvement of the General Department of Resettlement of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, provincial departments of Public Works and Transport of MPWT, and provincial departments of Rural Development of MRD, as set out in the Financing Agreement. The International Development Association (the “Association”) has agreed to provide the original financing (P169930) and the additional financing (P181396) for the Project, as set out in the referred financing agreement. This ESCP supersedes previous versions of the ESCP for the Project and shall apply both to the original and the additional financing for Project referred to above.

ក្នុងបេសកកមកម្មនេះ ឯកឧត្តមរដ្ឋលេខាធិការក៏បានដឹកនាំកិច្ចប្រជុំដែលមានលោកមេឃុំ,ក្រុមប្រឹក្សាឃុំ, លោកមេភូមិ បង-ប្អូនប្រជាពលរដ្ឋឃុំជ្រោយស្វាយ, តំណាងក្រុមហ៊ុនទទួលការសាងសង់, និងមន្រ្តីជំនាញទទួលបន្ទុកអនុវត្តគម្រោងចូលរួមយ៉ាងច្រើនកុះករ។ អង្គប្រជុំបានធ្វើការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តខិតខំសហការសាងសង់គម្រោងនេះឱ្យបានរួចរាល់មុនរដូវភ្លៀងចូលមកដល់ក្នុងខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ ខាងមុខនេះ។

Request for Expressions of Interest

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has obtained financing from the International Development Association IDA) towards the cost of the Cambodia Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Management Project II for rehabilitation and upgrade of Rural Roads in Cambodia. The proposed PDO is to be achieved through the following components: (1) Institutional strengthening for disaster resilience at the national level; (2) Resilient rural transport infrastructure reconstruction and maintenance; (3) Project Management; and (4) Contingency Emergency Response.
